Tomodachi (of the non-Japanese variety)

In no particular order, some of my favorite people and places...

A view of Shinjuku for the famed Park Hyatt Hotel, used in the filming of Lost In Translation.

Tokyo station, which is modeled after the train station in Amsterdam.

Indiana Patrick in front of the light display in Marunouchi. He's the best roomie ever!

That's one big beer for Kevin. And that's one odd facial expression for Patrick...

Emma is glowing after returning to Australia, even without me there to keep her company.

On her birthday, Emma wore her beautiful Vietnam outfit. She was the center of attention that night!

Hitomi and Sakiko pose on the way to our Company Trip Resort, and they're so cute!

But my favorite view of Fuji is from miles and miles away.

It's so much cooler looking down on those who haven't made it up Fuji yet than the other way around.

Two of the hottest girls in the hanami!

And as we are better known in our quieter moments...

Ski Trip, Winter 2003

Because no ski trip is complete without an "along the way on the I-5" shot.

We stopped in Placerville and got some pizza and beer. The beer was purely to dull the grappling pain of my finger after Helen slammed it in a car door.

We ARE ski bunnies. Well, at least Helen and I were. Golis insists that if it's a sport, matching isn't necessary. I beg to differ.

Our view of Lake Tahoe from our room at 7 am. Stunning.

Group Photos

"What are you doing Friday?"

"Happy Hour of course!"

At the Olive Garden for Sangeeta's 21st birthday. This is a sexy picture.

Mi amigos in front of the Bruin waiting to see The Matrix: Reloaded.

Sunday beach football where Britt and I suffered a harsh head on collision.

Royce Hall speaks for itself. I took this shot at Sunset during Winter Break. Not a person for miles...

Ladies and gentlemen, the I-10 freeway overlooking Hollywood.

UCLA Football

Cheers! Let's here it for the tailgate!

My tailgating Sproulers... aren't we cute (and drunk)?

U-C-L-A, fight fight fight!

Futbol!

The People Who Keep Me Sane

Byron and I in Malibu before I left for Japan.

A biker girl at heart. =)

This is my son. Don't be fooled by the apparent discrepancy in appearance. He takes after his father. >=)

Two beautiful girls against the backdrop of a beautiful beach. Natural beauty in all forms. ;-)

A very tipsy but very adorable Helen.

Good hair days are the key to good days.

The cheapest and quickest Halloween costume I could stitch together. Keesha's House of Hair worked overtime that night.

Gavin digs the denim skirt.

Every girl should have boots like this. The wig, however, is questionable in terms of "need."

My lifelong sister/friend and now professional model, Hollie. If you ask to have her number I'll kick you.

Keesha took this pic as I collected all of my winter gear to pack for Japan. Yes, I am a scarf whore. Yes, I am comfortable with that.

Doesn't Golis so innocent?? Don't be fooled...

Say "ahhhh!"

Two Marilyns and a Jackie.

One of the many dinner parties at Golis' and Fritz's apartment. Fritz can hold his milk with the best of 'em.

England: Summer 2002

Holly, Jackie, and I at our local Grasmere pub.

Stephanie, Stephanie (what are the chances?), Rikesha and I on the train to Grasmere.

It was so green and... green.

Sproul Hall 2002-2003

If you're Sproul and you know it...

shake yer bum!

Sproul Duty South, your radio tastes fine.

My final night of duty where we decidedly punked on Midnight Yell and had more fun taking pictures.

Good ole 7 South! "Can you hear me now?"

Bindi, Sangeeta, and Michele at the establishment that makes chicken AND waffles on the same fork possible.

Shake your duty!

Departure time: 10:30 pm Return time: 10:30 am It can only be... Vegas Baby!

Women's only Afternoon Tea... Mimosas + scones + Devonshire cream + strawberries + tea + chai + 6 fine Sproul women = YAY!

OCHC All-Hill Formal

We are sexy, ohhh yeah.

Indian princesses ran amok! And princesses aren't complete with their Indian princes.

Naowomandhol and Ng. Two of the coolest last names ever.
