She's back and better than ever!  It's great to be re-immersed into the Southern California climate, but freedom is priced at a premium until I get good an employed.  That's alright, a little familial pain now will lead to job satisfaction later.

Books

Titles with an exclamation point (!) are ones I recommend and titles with two (!!) are ones that I highly recommend.  Everything else is mediocre.
Lord of the Rings Trilogy (!!), The Lovely Bones (!), The DaVinci Code (!!), Stupid White Men, Memoirs of a Geisha (!!), Le Divorce, The Joy Luck Club (!), Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Etiquette Guide To Japan, Bridget Jones' Diary: The Edge of Reason, Anna Karenin (!!), Harry Potter and the Order Of the Phoenix (yes, again)(!!), The Notebook, Catcher In the Rye,  Dance, Dance, Dance (!), Three Musketeers (!!), Fast Food Nation (!!), Mansfield Park, Girl With A Pearl Earring, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Persuasion (!), Lolita, Sophie's World (!), Northanger Abbey and currently reading Uncle Tom's Cabin and Song of Solomon.

Movies

Recently I've seen...
The Notebook, Million Dollar Baby, Hitch, 50 First Dates, Finding Neverland, Phantom of the Opera, Friday Night Lights, Season 5 of CSI, and Angels in America.  This last one I would have to say is my favorite.  Because there is not much that beats a suffering AIDS patient being told by a stout Mormon to wrestle an angel.  I mean, come ON now!
